“I was a disaster back then. I was partying too much and they called me. I said, ‘I can’t come in right now. I’ve been drinking and doing stupid things.’ And they said, ‘No, they have to see you.’ I came in and ruined the audition. I mean, it wasn’t even an audition: I had the rolebut it was so bad that they said, ‘Yeah, we’re going to have to rule this guy out,'” he said.
